Adams County is north and east of the city of Denver and offers a variety of master-planned communities, established cities and rural areas in which to reside. Denver International Airport is located here. Two of Adam County's cities are highlighted here.

Northglenn, CO www.northglenn.org. Northglenn has a population of 33,130 that encompasses 7.5 square miles of land. A well-planned trail system makes it possible to walk virtually in any direction within the city. Recreational facilities include 550 acres of parks and open space, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, tennis courts, ball fields, and recreation centers.

Thornton, CO www.cityofthornton.net. Thornton's location provides an ideal environment for business, recreation, and residences. Located approximately 10 miles north of downtown Denver, the community's location adjacent to Interstate 25 provides an excellent high visibility area for business while still providing easy access to various transportation routes including the Denver International Airport. There are eight major universities and colleges located within a 45 mile radius of the community. Thornton has aggressively pursued recreation programs with nearly 1,000 acres of land developed or designated for public parks.
