Heather Parness has been in the residential real estate business for 18 years.  She currently serves as the President/Managing Broker of Perry & Co., specifically focusing on helping the team of 60+ brokers continue to build their businesses, as well as focusing on the financial health and successful future of the company.   Her current leadership of this privately-held, locally-owned firm allows her to follow a career goal of leading a company to its next stage of growth and development.

While she calls herself a “closet lawyer” her ability to understand the intricacies of real estate contracts makes her a valuable resource to her agents; a majority of her time is spent in answering questions and helping them with their agency relationships.  In addition, with her long experience working in a variety of positions in a real estate office, she speaks with authority about the many levels of real estate – from administrative duties to contract negotiation.  She is devout believer in real estate continuing education, often taking classes before she recommends them to her agents.  Her weekly sales meetings of all agents and staff are a mix of important real estate legislative updates, some realistic statistics about the market with an upbeat take on how they impact business, and always a focus on someone’s success in the past week.  She has an open-door policy with agents and staff and considers herself a resource to everyone in the company.

Heather started her real estate career in 1992 with Sears and Company, The Team, an independent real estate firm in Greeley, CO. Since getting her start in real estate, she has gone on to work in sales and management for many of Colorado’s top brokerage firms.  Prior to joining the leadership team and Perry & Co. in September 2009, Heather successfully orchestrated the sale and transition of Fuller Towne & Country Properties to Fuller Sotheby’s International Realty.  As President/COO, she was responsible for 5 offices and nearly 200 full time Brokers and staff, producing $1 billion in real estate transactions every year.

Heather is a member of the Colorado Chapter of the Young President's Organization (YPO), and currently serves as the Assistant Education Chair.  Additionally she serves as an Area Chair for the Western Region REX for YPO.  Heather was awarded Manager of the Year from the Denver Board of Realtors in 2007. Parness is a Past President of the Mile High Chapter of the Women’s Council of Realtors. She is also currently a member of the Denver Board of Realtors, the South Metro Denver Realtor Association, the Colorado Association of Realtors, and the National Association of Realtors. She graduated from Regis University in 2000 with her B.S. in Business Administration, Cum Laude.

Heather, a Colorado native, is an avid scuba diver and traveler.
