I’m a second generation Denver native and while I have lived outside of the city, I have always lived in Colorado!  I live in the Hilltop home I grew up in.  My son is in college at University of Puget Sound and my daughter and her family live blocks from me.  My grandson was born on my birthday at Rose Hospital, where I was born, and he is attending Carson Elementary, my alma mater! 

My roots in real estate were established early.  After my grandfather died in the late 1940s, shortly after his run for Mayor of Denver, my grandmother became a self-sufficient, independent Denver Realtor.  When I started in the industry in the 1980s, interest rates were in the double-digits, contracts were hand-carried to all principals for signatures, and properties were listed in MLS catalogs the size of phonebooks with tiny black and white property photographs. 

The explosion of information technology has revolutionized our world, bringing real estate right along with it.  People turn to the internet for their preliminary home-buying research and then call their Realtor for guidance and expert advice.  I have been privileged to provide a high standard of professionalism to countless clients, helping them with the largest investment of their lives.  In fact, I am known to still hand-deliver most of my contracts.

I have been writing poetry since I was a teen with emotion and nature recurring themes in my poems.  I’m an avid reader and like to see every movie nominated for an Academy Award, plus some.  I play tennis, golf, bike and garden.  Local theater and music are my favorite weekend pastimes, along with exploring small, tucked away, family-owned ethnic restaurants.

I have mentored teenage girls, volunteered at my son’s elementary school library cataloguing 10,000 books into a quick reference software program.  I’ve done fund raising and home building with Habitat for Humanity for the past seven years, and for 15 years have been the chair of the gardens at my church.

Grass roots/hands-on experience is my approach to life.  I know the central Denver neighborhoods inside and out.  I go through every house that might be a possible consideration for a client, finding the best value, location and condition of their future home.  I would love to be your representative, finding your family’s dream home and representing your interests with diligence and care!  Don’t make a move without me!
